Apple plans to bring Force Touch technology to the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus to be announced on 9th September at the event which will air at 10:30 PM IST.
Force Touch technology was introduced to the latest MacBook trackpads and the Apple Watch which provides 3 types of inputs Tap, press, and deep press which is nicknamed as “3D Touch Display”. This feature can be very helpful to app developers to unlock new functionalities. Let’s see what will be the full story on this after the launch of the new range of devices on 9th September 2015.
If the rumors are accurate, it will great to see how this feature works out as there are no touchscreen smartphones, which even support two types of taps, again Force Touch has shown issues with OS X it won’t be easier to be used on a smaller screen. It depends now on apple how they guide their users to learn this new technology.
